City of Waukee’s Water/Wastewater Intern program supports the full-time staff in the safe and reliable distribution of the city’s portable water supply, and the operation, repair and maintenance of the wastewater collection system, while completing college work experience requirements.
You will gain hands-on experience in system operation, hydrant flushing, meter reading, GIS tasks, and safety practices, with a schedule on weekdays and some after-hours duties as needed.
