Assistant Managers of HWH, Perishables, Store Operations and eCommerce;
Night Stock Manager. Positions that report to you:
None.
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner, wherever the encounter occurs.
- Make an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name whenever possible.
- Assist customers by escorting them to desired products, securing out‑of‑reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, and noting customer suggestions or requests.
- Perform telephone duties promptly, offering helpful service to callers.
- Work with co‑workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
- Unloads trucks, opens containers, stocks shelves, runs overstock on risers, and rotates product.
- Monitor for miss‑picked items, review product outs, and identify wrong deliveries.
- Organize stock for greatest efficiency, clean and restock damaged items, tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers.
- Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input.
- Maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
- Adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Report to work when scheduled, on time, and work the scheduled number of hours.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
- Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as required.
- Problem solving with limited standardization.
- Arithmetic calculation involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
- Perform very heavy work, exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
- Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
- Perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Exposed to dirt, noise, equipment movement hazards, chemicals/solvents daily. Occasionally exposed to temperature extremes and potential electrical shock.

Responsible for supplies, stock, and for checking the cooler.
