Location: Waukegan, IL (Onsite)
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 + Bonus
A well-established manufacturer in the Waukegan area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Staff Accountant who enjoys a hands-on role, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a financially stable organization.
The Staff Accountant will support a variety of accounting functions including general ledger activities, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while working in a relaxed, team-oriented environment.

- Perform general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting operations
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and support process improvements across the accounting function
- Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed
- 4+ years of accounting experience within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
