Order Entry & Sales Support Coordinator
This position operates in a small office environment, collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to process orders from online web sources and email. Fully onsite with a Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm schedule.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry & Sales Support Coordinator to enhance our daily order processing and internal operations. This role is crucial in ensuring customer orders are entered accurately, tracked efficiently, and effectively communicated across departments. The ideal candidate is organized, process-driven, and comfortable with data, systems, and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Accurately enter, review, and process customer orders.
- Verify pricing, product details, and order information for accuracy.
- Maintain customer and order records within company systems.
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor order status and provide updates as needed.
- Assist with preparing quotes, order documentation, and administrative support tasks.
- Manage order-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in partnership with internal departments.
- Support inventory, scheduling, and sales administration activities as needed.
- Previous experience in order entry, administrative support, inside sales support, or customer service.
- Two-plus years of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Quick Books experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, Epicor, MS Dynamics, MS 365, SAP, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and dependable with attendance.
- Willingness to take on responsibilities outside of the job description.
- Personable, friendly, professional, and eager to learn.
This is a Permanent position based out of Waukegan, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
