A highly reputable General Contractor, we are looking for a Lead Estimator to join our team.

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

Our Preconstruction and Estimating team is looking to add a Lead Estimator to our Chicagoland Office.

• Lead and develop conceptual and detailed estimates for General Contracting work.
• Develop labor productivity, contingency and escalation analyses.
• Develop budgets at early stages of design, relying on historical reference points and communication with designers and consultants.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate project risks.
• Review projects for cost-effectiveness and assess value alternatives.
• Analyze the development of documents and estimate the associated changes.
• Participate in scope of work development and subcontract agreements to ensure projects are fully coordinated between all disciplines.
• Recommend a procurement strategy and manage the bid solicitation process.
• Lead the internal review process for responsible work.
• Assist in owner presentations.
• Maintain historical cost information.
• Aid field operations with change order pricing if needed.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain a competitive advantage for the team.
• Develop and communicate qualifications for the basis of the estimate to internal and external team members.
