Project Engineer, Estimator

• Assist the project team in completing designated projects while learning Ryan processes, procedures, and business policies
• Work from a construction project site for a minimum of six months and preferably for the duration of an entire construction project
• Generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing logs and coordinate shop drawings
• Learn project dimensional control requirements and field verify dimensions to back check shop drawing approvals
• Assist with coordinating and tracking vendor and subcontractor deliveries
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures
• Gain understanding of overall site logistics
• Participate in the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process
• Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs
• Accompany Ryan personnel and the Owner on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items, and monitor completion
• Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule

• Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
• A bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems
• Ability to assume responsibility
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively

Demonstrates strong knowledge of construction project processes, including estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing, while effectively communicating and coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.
