Part-Time Customer Service Assistant
The Customer Service Assistant is typically the first person that library visitors see and it is important for them to be friendly, focused, and flexible. This position is responsible for assisting patrons in person and over the phone with many aspects of their library visit, including creating library cards, checking out materials, equipment assistance, shelving and locating library materials, answering phones, answering basic questions, assisting with programs, and proactively handling situations in a busy public space.
Position: 16 hours per week, $20.16 per hour.
Schedule:
Sundays 1-5 pm, Mondays 10 am–2 pm, Wednesdays 10 am–2 pm, Thursdays 4-8 pm.
