This position will serve Leyden High School District 212 for the entire first semester of (August 10 -- December 18, 2026)
Leyden High School District 212 is seeking a Long-Term Guest Teacher for Mathematics to support student learning at East and/or West Leyden High School. The successful candidate will provide instruction, maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, collaborate with department colleagues, and support students in meeting course expectations.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction, following the assigned teacher's schedule, maintaining attendance and grades, communicating with parents/guardians as needed, and working collaboratively with the Department Chairperson, administrators, and colleagues.
Qualified candidates should hold an Illinois Professional Educator License or equivalent licensure appropriate for the grade level and/or subject area, demonstrate strong mathematics content knowledge, and possess effective classroom management and communication skills.
This long-term assignment is paid at $345 per day
