Stillpoint AEC is partnering with a highly respected consulting engineering firm in the Chicago area to identify MEP Engineers for multiple permanent, full-time opportunities. The firm is actively seeking professionals with experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing engineering who are passionate about designing innovative, high-performance building systems across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities- Design and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing building systems based on your area of expertise
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
- Develop HVAC, plumbing, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, or specialty building system designs
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Utilize Revit and BIM workflows to support integrated project delivery
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination sessions
- Support projects through schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and assist with construction-phase services
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and technical coordination efforts
- Mentor junior engineers and designers as experience level allows
- Contribute to innovative, sustainable, and constructable building system solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred
- Current experience within an MEP consulting engineering or AEC environment required
- PE preferred
- Candidates actively progressing toward professional licensure are strongly encouraged to apply
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, K-12, industrial, hospitality, mixed-use, laboratory, or institutional projects preferred
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM coordination workflows preferred
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering standards, and industry best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative consulting environment
