Key Responsibilities

  • Support conceptual project design, including major equipment selection, technical specifications, site layouts, and grid interconnection requirements.
  • Coordinate engineering activities across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Review engineering deliverables and technical documentation for compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage relationships with external engineering consultants, contractors, and technical partners.
  • Participate in technical evaluations, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Support permitting activities, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with local authorities where required.
  • Assist during project construction by reviewing RFIs, technical submittals, commissioning plans, and field quality activities.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support schedule and budget objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering standards, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience within the power, energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience supporting engineering design and project execution activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with high-voltage electrical systems, substations, grid infrastructure, renewable energy, or energy storage projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical design, protection and control systems, and engineering studies.
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contractor deliverables.
  • Exposure to construction, commissioning, testing, and project closeout activities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure preferred.
