As a Manufacturing Engineer at Hoerbiger, you will design, optimize, and support manufacturing processes for advanced compression, drive, and mechatronic solutions used worldwide. Working closely with Engineering & Design, you will develop tooling and work instructions, improve line layouts, and drive lean initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. You will lead root cause analysis, support new product introductions, and collaborate with international, cross-functional teams in a stable, engineering-driven environment focused on reliability, precision, and sustainable industrial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for compression, drive, and mechatronic components
- Develop tooling, fixtures, and work instructions to improve quality and throughput
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues
- Implement lean and continuous improvement projects for safety, cost, and reliability
- Collaborate with global engineering and design teams on new product introductions
- Support equipment specification, installation, and capability studies
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production activities
