We are looking for a Project Manager to work on-site at a client facility in Waukegan, OH. This contract is estimated to last approximately 6 months, with a possibility of extension. In addition to project management, the Project Manager may also be responsible for leading the construction activities at the site and coordinating with the main contractors/subcontractors to ensure successful execution of the project.

Candidates for this position should have large-scale plant and industrial chemical experience. This is an ON-SITE position and remote candidates cannot be considered.

BS degree in and Engineering discipline;
Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial ,or Reliability Engineering preferred. Other degrees may be considered based on past project experiences.

Minimum seven (7) years' project engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in liquid coating or chemical process industries.

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience leading projects from Conceptual to Implementation, with proven records of leading %500k to $5MM USD Cap Ex Projects

The Consultant EPM reports to the Regional Engineering Manager (REM).

Acts as the day-to-day execution lead and interfaces with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Procurement, and Finance.

Authorized to coordinate project activities and contractor/vendor interfaces.

Authorized to manageday-to-day execution within approved scope, budget, and schedule baselines.

Authorized to recommend actions related to scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality; prepare change requests for approval.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction

Must be willing to relocate to the project site for the duration of the contract (near Waukegan, IL)

• Authorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background
• Submits to a drug test post offer
• Possesses a valid driver's license
• Ability to collaborate with others in an on-site, team environment
• Demonstrate reliable, consistent, and punctual work-site attendance
• Ability to utilize the required technology such as computers, phones, and tablets to complete job duties
• Must be an organized, self-starter who can independently manage time effectively
  
  Have the ability to handle varying workloads and the variable stress-levels associated with said workload
• Ability to meet the quality and productivity standards required by the company
