COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with The Menta Group, you will work with students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for daily life and work, according to their IEPs.

Location: 621 Belvidere Rd, Waukegan, IL 60085

Schedule: 8 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, following a School Calendar (paid time off during school breaks)

• Provide educational support for students during times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
• Assist in developing and updating IEP goals and progress reports for your student caseload.
• Provide Occupational Therapy services and implement individual treatment plans as outlined in the IEP.
• Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly and coordinate with administrative staff, teachers, and other service providers as needed or directed by the IEP.

• Bachelor's Degree and COTA Certification or proof of application with IDFPR.
• Ability to work with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI/OHI.
