IT Project Manager

Job Title: IT Project Manager:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives that align with business objectives.

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end management of IT projects, from initiation through closure

• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership

• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision-making sessions

Risk, Budget & Quality Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies

• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements

Process & Methodology

• Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid)

• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance standards

• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (project charters, plans, reports)

• Track KPIs and performance metrics to measure project success

• Ensure proper handover of deliverables to operations and support teams

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• 3–7 years of experience managing IT or technology-focused projects

Technical & Project Management Skills

• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure projects

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet)

• Knowledge of SDLC and IT service management processes

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

• PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification

• Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)

• Experience working in Agile or Dev Ops environments

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience managing enterprise-level or cross-functional IT projects
