Desktop Support Engineer

Overview

Sentinel is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team and provide on-site technical assistance to our customer. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing desktops and laptops, performing software re-imaging, and ensuring systems are fully functional and secure. We are looking for someone who delivers exceptional customer service, works collaboratively within a team, and maintains a professional presence at client location.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our client site in Waukegan, IL.

• Troubleshoot and repair desktop and laptop hardware
• Perform software re-imaging (SCCM experience preferred)
• Ensure systems are fully functional and secure
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional presence at client locations
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues on-site

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
• A+ Certification preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing desktop and laptop hardware
• Experience with software re-imaging; SCCM experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Must have a car for travel between locations and transporting equipment
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Demonstrates a “can-do” attitude

Compensation: $45,000-$60,000 annually
