IT Quality Assurance Analyst

Conduct quality assurance analysis across applications and system implementation projects. Experience with functional, system, integration, regression, API, and workflow testing. Plan, execute, and complete QA activities, develop and maintain test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts. Document, evaluate, and track test results and defects, working with development and business teams to troubleshoot issues. Create test schedules, environment, and configuration requirements. Estimate testing effort levels and timelines to assist with resourcing.

Perform API testing using Postman and write SQL code to validate application values. Build testing frameworks using Agile Scrum methodologies, establish traceability of requirements through test plans and cases, and provide functionality demonstrations to business teams to initiate UAT testing. Monitor and communicate QA status to leadership. Build and maintain automated tests, identifying candidates for automation. Annual salary: $121,389.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive quality assurance experience.
• Perform integration, system, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct API testing utilizing Postman.
• Write SQL code to test software application values.
• Build testing frameworks using Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Identify, define, track, and report QA metrics and KPIs.
