: SAP SCM Test Lead

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration : 4-5 Months

Test Lead Job Description – Role and Responsibilities

• Develops and Executes the Project Test Strategy and Plan
• Provides leadership on Functional Testing, Integration Testing, ETE/Scenario Testing, and UAT
• Assists in the test cases, test scripts and test criteria to validate all business requirements and interfaces
• Oversees the preparation of the QA test environment
• Provides leadership in assigning and resolving testing related defects in the areas of process, data or Quintiq application defects to deliver the project on time with quality
• Categorizes and accurately assigns, report, track, and prioritize defects resolution
• Develops and align test acceptance criteria across Smithfield IT and Business stakeholders
• Ensures that the various stages of testing have clear acceptance and sign-off
• Provides input to the Project Master Plan and MS Project Schedule regarding testing activities
• Provides input to Smithfield's testing standards and processes

Project Deliverables
- Quintiq Modeling/Development Phase:

• Assists in the creation of all core and non-core test cases/scripts
• Assists with Performance/Load testing in Quintiq environment
• Develops Test Strategy and Test Plan
• Assists in the creation Reality Check Scenarios (DITL)

Key Project Deliverables
- Testing Phase/Iterative Development

• Manages the test execution of all core and non-core test cases
• Manages the test execution of test cases related to constraints and KPIs relevant for optimization
• Assists with the acceptance of the Optimization testing and Optimization benchmarks
• Assists with Performance/Load testing on Smithfield's environment
• Test issue management/ Monitoring and reporting of defects and test status
• Manages Test Acceptance & Exit Criteria

Role Prerequisites

• University degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred
• At least 5 plus years of experience in SAP SCM and supply chain planning experience such as forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, and optimization preferably in protein/food industry
• At least 5 years in the role of Test Lead in SAP and/or Supply Chain domains
• Strong Leadership, issue resolution and conflict management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders
• Experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) applications and SAP ECC systems
• Experience with Test Management software such as HP ALM (Quality Center)
• Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Able to work independently with limited direction
• Demonstrated communication, facilitation and leadership skills
