Position: SAP Support Specialist (SAP S/4HANA) (W2 Only) - 25506

Job Description

An iMPact Business Group client in the Medical Device industry is seeking to hire an experienced SAP Support Specialist who has recent experience with providing User Support in an SAP S/4

HANA
environment.

*** Please note this is a direct hire W2 only role, there is currently no option for Visa Sponsorship ***

This firm is migrating from a prior version of SAP into SAP S/4

HANA and expanding their internal SAP Support Team for their US Operations.

This role will start out primarily onsite, with long-term potential to work Hybrid.

Primary focus is supporting users in their US Headquarters. For those interested in international travel, there is some potential for periodic travel to their parent organization in Europe.

This position will focus on providing SAP User Support and provide knowledge sharing to the existing SAP Support team who is in the process of learning SAP S/4

HANA.

Typical Duties
  • Utilize strong problem solving skills to ensure maximum uptime for SAP users
  • Supporting hardware, software, and systems for SAP S/4

    HANA and related applications including CRM systems, external sales portals, etc.
  • Diagnoses and resolves technical issues with SAP and SAP‑interfaced applications including prototypes and version updates
  • Works closely with the Senior SAP Support Specialist for timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Works closely with other SAP Support team members for troubleshooting and resolving SAP issues including error messages, User authorization/access issues, and related SAP support needs
  • Researching and answering a variety of SAP S/4

    HANA questions and information requests
  • Development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to SAP reporting needs
  • Assists with User Training and Team Member training related to the functional use of SAP modules and SAP‑interfaced applications
  • Responsible for tracking and documenting support efforts in the corporate Helpdesk Ticketing system
  • Creates monthly activity reports about user activity, problems, problem resolution, new developments, and ad-hoc SAP support issues
  • May require scheduling flexibility if coordinating with the European parent organization
Job Requirements
  • 4 year college degree (BA, BS) is required
  • 5+ years experience supporting SAP Users and resolving User and Technical support issues
  • General/Functional knowledge of SD, MM, WM and SAP S/4

    HANA software modules
  • Experience supporting Users in an SAP S/4

    HANA environment is required
  • Experience with MS Office products, ie. Excel and Pivot tables
  • Knowledge of business processes in a Manufacturing environment
  • Solid Customer service focus
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
  • Organized and able to work on multiple issues concurrently
  • Able to perform well in stressful situations when they occur
  • Team focused and a good Team member
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences (Global environment)
  • Experience supporting Users during a migration to SAP S/4

    HANA is a strong nice-to-have
