IT Support, Systems Administrator
Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for IT Administrator positions in Waukegan, IL. This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
Responsibilities:- Provide first-line technical support through a ticketing system by troubleshooting hardware, software, Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Install, configure, maintain, and support PCs, servers, networks, virtual environments, and corporate infrastructure including Exchange, SharePoint, VMware, and VOIP systems
- Assist with network and server administration, system upgrades, patches, backup and disaster recovery processes, and support IT Managed Service Providers
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, user access privileges, and provide end-user training and technical support
- High School Diploma or GED required; 5+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Administration experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, VMware, networking, and server support
- Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills in a high-volume support environment
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCP) are a plus; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and provide 24/7 support as needed
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekly paycheck
- Pay: $38.46/hour
