Chief Business Officer (CBO) / Executive Leadership

Role Summary

The Senior Director, Supply Chain leads the development, integration, and execution of enterprise-wide supply chain strategy across planning, procurement, inventory, capacity, supply continuity, and related systems and processes. This role is accountable for building and operating an integrated supply chain that supports customer requirements, business growth, operational performance, and working-capital objectives across multiple manufacturing locations.

The position provides enterprise leadership across demand and supply planning, S&OP/SIOP, inventory optimization, capacity planning, supply chain systems, and process transformation. The Senior Director establishes metrics, governance, and operating rhythms that enable proactive decision-making and balance customer service, cost, inventory, capacity, and supply risk.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Advanced degree and/or recognized supply chain certification preferred.
Experience
  • Progressive leadership experience across supply chain planning, procurement, inventory, capacity, and operations in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading S&OP/SIOP or other integrated business planning processes and resolving cross-functional supply and demand constraints.
  • Experience establishing enterprise inventory strategy, working-capital improvement plans, and supply continuity risk mitigation.
  • Experience serving as a business leader for ERP/MRP implementation, transformation, or major supply chain process redesign.
  • Proven ability to translate business growth and customer requirements into long-range supply chain capabilities, priorities, and organizational roadmaps.
  • Experience leading leaders, developing talent, and establishing clear functional accountability and performance expectations.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and integrated planning, purchasing, inventory, and production-order processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis/reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain master data, system governance, and process controls.
  • Ability to leverage dashboards and analytics to support decision-making.
Leadership & Communication
  • Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to lead high-impact escalations, facilitate decisions, and establish accountability across multiple functions and locations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Executive Leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise Supply Chain Strategy
  • Develop and execute enterprise supply chain strategy aligned with business growth, customer requirements, and operational objectives.
  • Establish operating models across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and manufacturing interfaces.
  • Balance customer service, inventory, cost, capacity, and supply risk when making enterprise decisions.
  • Develop multi-year supply chain capability and organizational roadmaps.
S&OP / Integrated Planning
  • Own the development, implementation, and maturity of the company’s S&OP/SIOP process.
  • Integrate demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning into a unified enterprise planning process.
