Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Our client is seeking a contract Program Manager to leverage their expertise to lead and execute programs of moderate scope from initial concept through completion. This individual will collaborate across multiple disciplines and locations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities- Accountable for managing programs that may consist of multiple related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Uphold compliance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Drive consistent, high-quality program outcomes through disciplined planning, proactive risk identification, and effective mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate the broader operational and business impact of program decisions, including potential risks and downstream effects.
- Coordinate program activities across multiple functions and, when applicable, locations.
- Oversee concurrent initiatives within the program, balancing timelines, resources, and competing priorities.
- Establish clear milestones, success metrics, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Identify program-level risks and dependencies early, implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Facilitate alignment among stakeholders, resolving conflicts and removing barriers to execution.
- Support development of program strategies that advance customer objectives and overall business goals.
- Lead structured reviews, governance meetings, and cross-functional discussions to maintain program momentum.
- Promote continuous improvement by contributing to process enhancements and best practice development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with demonstrated success delivering cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience supporting development or commercialization of commercial electro‑mechanical and/or software‑based devices preferred.
- Strong execution‑oriented project management skills, with emphasis on driving timelines, coordination, and deliverables rather than deep technical specialization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated competence in risk management, budgeting, and program tracking.
- Ability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience working in regulated or quality‑driven environments preferred.
- Formal project or program management training or certification is preferred.
