PTC Support Engineer

Contract: 12-month Contract, W2 (2–3+ year scope)

We are supporting a leading pharma client in scaling its plasma-derived manufacturing operations in Illinois, and are seeking a PTC Support Engineer to support the Pooling, Thawing and Centrifugation stage of the process train. This role keeps front-end plasma processing running reliably - covering plasma bottle opening, centrifugation and parts washer operations - with the technical rigour and documentation expected in a GMP plasma fractionation environment.

• Support pooling, thawing and centrifugation operations, including plasma bottle opening and material handling
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot centrifuges and parts washers to maintain process uptime
• Investigate equipment and process deviations and support root cause investigations
• Maintain accurate GMP batch records, logbooks and equipment documentation
• Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Quality to resolve front-end processing issues
• Support changeover, cleaning and readiness of PTC equipment between runs

• 3+ years in a GMP pharmaceutical, biologics or plasma manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience with centrifugation, material handling or plasma/biologics processing equipment
• Solid understanding of GMP documentation and deviation practices
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)

• Prior experience in plasma fractionation or a plasma‑derived products facility
• Familiarity with parts washer and cleaning operations in a regulated setting
• Siemens automation experience (beneficial, not required)
