Position Title:

Production Associate

Wage: $17.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

7:30am - 4:00pm

Production Associate Responsibilities:
  • Locate, pick, and organize specific parts and materials based on work orders or picking lists
  • Assemble components into complete kits for production or shipment
  • Perform in-process and final inspections on kits, parts, and products
  • Verify accuracy, completeness, and quality per specifications
  • Visually inspect components for physical damage, proper labeling, and dimensional accuracy
  • Ensure all assemblies meet defined standards before release
  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain required documentation
  • Identify and report non-conformances, and complete relevant test reports or paperwork
  • Move components and finished kits to and from designated areas safely and efficiently
  • Use proper handling techniques and equipment as required
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies
  • Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and governmental regulations
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and free from safety hazards
  • Participate in 5S or other lean manufacturing practices as needed
Requirements for Production Associate:
  • Attention to Detail:
    High level of accuracy in picking and assembling components
  • Manual Dexterity:
    Steady hands and good coordination for handling small or delicate parts
  • Measuring Equipment Proficiency:
    Familiarity with tools like calipers, micrometers, or gauges preferred
  • Computer Literacy:
    Ability to work with inventory systems, inspection software, or digital records
  • Interpretation

    Skills:

    Read and understand work instructions, drawings, and quality specifications
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication to report defects or process issues clearly
  • Physical Fitness:
    Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials during shift (may include lifting up to 50lbs)
