HOERBIGER is seeking a CNC Operator to support our Manufacturing & Production team in producing high-precision components for advanced compression, drive, and mechatronic solutions. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment, interpret engineering drawings, and verify part quality using precision measuring tools. You will work in an engineering-driven, safety-focused culture that values accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to collaborate on international projects and grow your technical skills in a stable, innovative industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components to specification.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
- Monitor production runs, perform in-process inspections, and adjust parameters to maintain quality.
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Document production data, quality checks, and nonconformances per HOERBIGER standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work area.

- S initiatives in Manufacturing & Production.
Required Skills
- CNC machine setup and operation
- G-code interpretation and basic editing
- Blueprint and technical drawing reading
- Use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Basic CNC troubleshooting and maintenance
- Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and GD&T basics
- Shop math and measurement conversion
- Quality inspection and documentation
- Familiarity with machining materials (steel, alloys, etc.)
