We're seeking an experienced Nurse Director – Perioperative Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for Surgical Services and Central Sterile Processing
. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished nursing leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams, driving quality outcomes, and advancing perioperative care.
- Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for Perioperative Services and Central Sterile Processing
- Direct the planning, coordination, and daily operations of the department
- Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate nursing and support staff
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on employee engagement and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory and accreditation standards
- Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Partner with physicians and executive leadership to enhance patient, physician, and employee satisfaction
- Oversee departmental budgets, staffing, productivity, and operational performance
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, service expansion, and operational efficiency
- Support strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and the surgical experience
- BSN required (Master's degree preferred)
- Current RN license
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Progressive leadership experience in Perioperative Services, Surgical Services, or Operating Room management
- Demonstrated success leading surgical teams, managing operations, and driving quality and financial performance
- Lead a comprehensive perioperative program with significant organizational impact
- Collaborate with engaged physicians and executive leadership
