Interim-to- Nursing Director Perioperative Services

We're seeking an experienced Nurse Director – Perioperative Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for Surgical Services and Central Sterile Processing

• Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for Perioperative Services and Central Sterile Processing
• Direct the planning, coordination, and daily operations of the department
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate nursing and support staff
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on employee engagement and professional growth
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory and accreditation standards
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership to enhance patient, physician, and employee satisfaction
• Oversee departmental budgets, staffing, productivity, and operational performance
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, service expansion, and operational efficiency
• Support strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and the surgical experience

• BSN required (Master's degree preferred)
• Current RN license
• ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Progressive leadership experience in Perioperative Services, Surgical Services, or Operating Room management
• Demonstrated success leading surgical teams, managing operations, and driving quality and financial performance
