Job Summary

The Quality Control Managerwillberesponsibleforoverseeingandmanagingthequalityassuranceandcontrolprocessesforall PVprojectsforthe Mechanical and Electricalinstallationsintheirassignedregion .Theindividualwillensurethatallprojectsmeetthehigheststandardsofqualityandcomplywithindustryregulations,project specifications,the National Electrical Codeandcompanystandards .

The Quality Control Managerwillprimarilyworkinafieldsettingtoperforminspectionsandensurequalitycontrolstandardsarebeingmetbutmayalsoworkremotelytocompletepaperworkandadminworkasnecessary .

Thisrolewillrequireconstanttravelbetweenmultiplesites,Per Diem Rateswillapplydependingonhomeofrecordandworklocation .

• Developandimplementqualityplansthatalignwith Sun Energy Solar LCC’sQuality Management System ,SESSOPsandcontractrequirementsforeachoftheirprojects.
• Establish,maintain,andcontinuouslyimprovequalitysystemstoensurecompliancewithindustrystandards,regulatory requirements,andcustomerexpectations.
• Monitorprojectquality:
  
  Conductregularinspectionsandauditsofongoingandcompletedprojectstoensureadherencetoqualitystandards,AHJ’srequirements,manufacturersinstallationinstructions,code compliance;identifyingareasforimprovement.
• Managequalitycontrolprocesses:
  
  Overseethe testing,inspection,andevaluationofmaterials,components,systemsandprocessesonassignedprojects.
• Trainandsupport:
  
  Providedirecttrainingandguidancetoprojectteamsonqualityassuranceandcontrolpractices,Sun Energy Solar ’sQuality
  
  Standardsandreferenceguides,ensuringthatallteammembersunderstandandfollowestablishedprocedures.
• Documentandreportfindings:
  
  Maintaindetailedrecordsofqualityinspections,audits,andcorrectiveactions,andprepareregularreportsformanagementandclients.
• BecomeproficientintheuseofCXAlloysoftwaretotrainprojectteamsindocumentationprocessesandtoinitiate,reportanddocumentallqualitymattersonprojects.
• Conduct frequent,formalauditsondocumentationcompliance,reporting methods,installation processes/proceduresandmethods,material handling,andvendorproductperformance.
• Continuous improvement:
  
  Identifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsandimplementcorrectiveactionstoenhanceoverallprojectqualityandefficiency.
• Ensure compliance:
  
  Stayup-to-datewithindustrystandards,regulatory requirements,andbestpracticesand.ensurethatallprojectsadheretorelevantguidelinesand regulations.

• Experience:
  
  Minimumof5yearsofexperienceinqualitymanagement,preferablyinthesolarorrenewableenergyindustry.
• Certifications:
  
  QualitymanagementcertificationssuchasASQCertified
  
  Auditor,ISO
  9001,Six Sigma,orPMParehighlydesirable.
• OSHA
  10,30,Journeyman,etc.areallhighlydesirable.

• Strongknowledgeofqualityassuranceandcontrolmethodologies.
• Strongknowledgeofelectricalconstructionandelectricalsafety.
• Experiencewithconstructiondrawingsandinstallationprocedures.
• Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
• Effectivecommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
• Proficientinqualitymanagementsoftwareandtools.
• Abilitytoworkaspartofateam.
