KSG is supporting a well-established industry leader seeking a field based Account Manager to drive growth within a designated territory by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships. This role focuses on helping customers solve operational challenges through consultative sales of facility maintenance, MRO, and related solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing territory strategies, and partnering with distributors and end users to drive revenue growth.

Chicago Market Preferred, but will cover the Upper Midwest as well
- Manage the full sales cycle across assigned accounts, including prospecting, relationship development, product presentations, and ongoing account management
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships
- Develop pull-through demand with end users by demonstrating the value and impact of products, programs, and solutions
- Collaborate with distributor partners and independent sales representatives to increase market penetration and drive territory growth
- Serve as a liaison between end users and distribution partners to ensure customer needs are understood and addressed
- Create and execute short- and long-term territory growth strategies
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and revenue projections
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience selling into complex sales environments, or 5+ years of experience managing consultative sales cycles, or 5+ years of outside Fortune 1000 B2B Sales
- Proven track record of developing new business and building strong customer relationships
- Experience working with distributors, channel partners, or indirect sales models is highly desirable
- Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills
- Experience generating leads and building relationships through trade shows and industry events
- Ability to navigate multi-level decision-making processes and engage stakeholders across operations, purchasing, and executive leadership
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Prior experience within MRO, facilities maintenance, janitorial/sanitation, or related industrial markets is preferred
- Self-starter with strong prospecting and territory management skills
- Strategic thinker who can identify opportunities and execute growth plans
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment
- Highly organized with strong forecasting and pipeline management abilities
- Effective collaborator who can partner cross-functionally to support customer success
