Account Manager, Instruments - Northern Indiana, West Michigan Territory

Changing lives. Building Careers. Joining us is a chance to do important work that creates change and shapes the future of healthcare. The Account Manager will be responsible for Integra’s Instruments product line and solely responsible for sales of these products within a defined territory.

• Achieve or exceed defined territory sales revenue targets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service.
• Call on multiple service points and specializations, spending 90% of the time in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with Integra functional areas to ensure customer satisfaction and meet regional and corporate financial goals.
• Develop a formal business plan at the beginning of each fiscal year and produce monthly and quarterly territory reports aimed at achieving sales goals.
• Support case coverage and inventory requests when called upon, and identify new business opportunities.
• Identify product improvement opportunities for sales, marketing, and product development teams.
• Maintain a high level of technical, product, and disease‑state knowledge; provide a consultative role in the OR environment in accordance with product indications.
• Operate within defined budgets and strictly follow corporate policies, the Advamed Code of Conduct, and the Sunshine Act.
• Perform sales administrative duties in a timely manner as defined by management.

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience; business or science‑related degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of business‑to‑business sales experience; two years of surgical device or other medical sales preferred.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills.
• Confidence communicating with established physicians and surgical personnel.
• Strong negotiation and selling skills.
• Interpersonal and political savvy within hospital settings.
• Track record of developing and executing sales plans.
• Team player.
• Physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases and able to lift and carry 65 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Highly competitive with a strong track record of success.

Individual pay is determined by several factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Employees may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, or other variable compensation.
