Position:
Part-Time Flex Officer

Location:

Northern Suburbs (Waukegan, Deerfield, Wheeling)
Pay Rate: $22.38 per hour

Schedule:

Flexible availability required across all days and shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of one (1) year of security experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be willing and able to travel one hour or more to assigned work locations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police / fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal is conducted within client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

• Must possess a high school diploma
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with applicable laws
• No prior experience required
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
