Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye and strong observation skills to detect and respond to threats in security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and other environments.

  Two shifts available (Full time, Tuesday through Saturday 10 p.m.–6 a.m.; Full time, Friday & Saturday 10 p.m.–10 a.m. plus Sunday & Monday 10 p.m.–6 a.m.)

• Walk, stand, sit or climb stairs for extended periods.
• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Valid IL PERC.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and concentration skills.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Security, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• State license if required.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
