Security Guard Coordinator
The Security Guard Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily security operations, managing security officers and schedules, communicating with clients and management, and ensuring that all assigned security locations are properly staffed and monitored. The Coordinator serves as a key link between security officers, clients, supervisors, and company management.
General Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegional Security Leadership
- Coordinate daily assignments and schedules for security officers.
- Ensure all security posts are properly staffed and covered.
- Monitor officer attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage –including but not limited to patrol fulfillment and performance.
- Arrange replacements when an officer is absent, late, or unable to complete a shift.
- Assist with training and orientation of new security officers.
- Maintain accurate records of officer assignments, attendance, reports, and disciplinary or performance issues.
Physical Security Operations
- Conduct periodic site visits when required to ensure officers are performing their duties properly.
- Respond promptly to client requests and security-related concerns.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing for special events, holidays, call-offs, and additional security assignments.
- Help maintain proper uniforms, equipment, keys, radios, access cards, and other company property.
Incident & Crisis Response
- Follow up on incidents, complaints, missed patrols, or other operational concerns.
- Escalate serious incidents, staffing problems, safety concerns, or performance issues to management or clients when appropriate.
- Review daily activity reports, incident reports, patrol reports, and other security documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable security regulations.
Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, security officers, supervisors, and management. Communicate daily instructions, post orders, and client requirements to security officers.
- Ensure officers understand site-specific post orders, procedures, emergency protocols, and client expectations.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Position Summary
The Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and managing the daily site activities of the assigned work by all Dedicated Officers. The Coordinator will assist the Director in managing efficiency ensuring that all on-site services run smoothly and effectively. Flexible availability is a must to align with the needs of the business requiring some overnights, weekends and holidays as needed.

- Financial Acumen: Understanding company measurements while executing the necessary behaviors to drive performance. Can you effectively manage the delivery of the Signal business model through key performance indicators while controlling company resources?
- Team Development: Communicate with Clients, team members and management effectively and in a timely manner, receiving and relaying feedback and executing follow up as needed. Can you implement training programs to support an employee's growth and development through recognition programs, staff meetings and consistent coaching and development?
- Project Management: Complete understanding and execution of daily tasks and efficiently delivering services that meet the needs of the business. Can you properly manage schedules and post orders, while reviewing and following up on incidents to maintain Client and employee relationships?
Responsibilities:
- The coordinator will be responsible/accountable for the overall quality of service to assigned accounts/clients.
- Operational KPIs direct accountability:
Labor Efficiencies (including overtime), Dedicated Shift completion, Employee Retention, Customer retention, Daily sales outstanding, and A.R Over 90 days. Indirectly:
