Welder (GMAW)
Pay: $17 – $28/hour (based on experience)
Full Benefits Package after 60 days
Friday – Sunday Weekend shift 5:00AM – 5:30PM (Work 36 paid for 40)
SummaryTo join materials together utilizing the proper welding technique to satisfy customer requirements.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints to determine correct process for welding product.
- Determine appropriate welding equipment and welding sequence.
- Weld components together to satisfy Customer Specifications.
- Validate weld integrity with non‑destructive test.
- Report in ERP system accurate quantities completed.
- Measure final product to Customer blueprint.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Perform Daily/Weekly Preventative maintenance as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/or ExperienceRequired:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years welding experience or 4 years from accredited welding institution.
- Blueprint reading.
- Weld symbols knowledge.
Preferred:
- Metal fabrication experience.
- A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution.
Ability to read/write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, product and component specifications, data sheets and procedure manuals.
