- Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines
- Work closely with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance
- Work with Product Support for technical assistance and provide diagnostic feedback
- Use visual clues, computer programs and diagnostic tools to diagnose machine difficulties
- Read and utilize company repair manuals and work orders for repairs
- Suggest adjustments or updates to existing technical documentation when needed
- Assemble, install, align equipment, clean, and replace or install parts
- Report technical conditions and machine information to PSG and management
- Interface with applications, sales, engineering, production and other cross-functional teams
- Provide onsite customer training for machine operation and/or repair
- Submit organized and helpful service reports for each repair mission
- Build and develop strong customer relationships
- Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles, or a suitable combination of education and work experience
- Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful
- Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record
- Requires 100% nationwide travel, including overnight stays and occasional weekend and international travel
Demonstrates expertise in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining TRUMPF CNC machines while ensuring optimal operation through effective customer interaction and technical support. Proficient in utilizing diagnostic tools and technical documentation to enhance machine performance and customer training.
