• Average $95,000 annually


• 5‑day work week


• Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral

You will drive:

  • Late‑model Freightliner, Volvo, and Penske Truck Leasing trucks
  • Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort
  • In‑cab cameras (inward and outward facing) for safety

What you will do:

  • 3–5 stops per week
  • 4–5 layovers per week

Schedule:

  • Consecutive days off each week
  • Home multiple nights per week

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • English language proficiency required to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required.
  • Regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
Physical Requirements
  • See and hear. Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, sit. Use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
  • Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area.
