Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver with a C- class driver's license with a minimum of 3 years experience driving a 26ft box truck to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all driving and delivery tasks.

$18-$22 hourly for local moves. For OTR, pay is $.50 per mile.

Duties

• Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ensure the safe handling of products during transportation, including heavy lifting and moving.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
• 3 + years experience as a delivery driver or Over The Road (OTR).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques for efficient navigation.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
