Material Handler

Position Title:

Material Handler Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

7:30am - 4:00pm

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler in Waukegan, IL to help prepare and fulfill orders quickly and accurately, ensuring top-quality customer service. Material Handlers are essential to warehouse operations, responsible for organizing inventory, picking and packing items per customer requirements, and maintaining accurate stock records. You’ll play a key role in supporting our supply chain and warehouse efficiency.

• - Organize and store stock efficiently using forklifts, pallets, and other equipment
• - Receive and verify incoming pick tickets
• - Accurately pull materials to fulfill orders based on specifications
• - Wrap, label, and stage completed orders for shipping or delivery
• - Record all order information, inventory movements, and discrepancies
• - Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues
• - Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar role
• - Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• - Comfortable using RF scanners or related inventory systems preferred
• - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• - Good communication and teamwork abilities
• - Ability to meet physical demands
• - Willingness to occasionally work overtime as needed
