I am looking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant for reputable construction company here in Waukesha, WI (53186). This role will be permanent with benefits and is looking to interview/start immediately.
Pay: $55k - $70k (based on experience) & Benefits
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 100% onsite
Remote: No, 100% onsite
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post recurring and accrual journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Process cash applications and maintain accurate AR records
- Follow up on outstanding customer balances and assist with collections
- Prepare and submit monthly construction draw applications to clients
- Maintain accurate financial records and support documentation
- Assist with audit requests and other accounting projects
