Position: Hospitality Director (Seasonal)

We are hiring remarkable summer camp staff to serve our camp programming areas! Join our summer camp team and make $600 per week.

Working at a Girl Scout camp offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth while enjoying a rewarding and adventure-filled summer. As a camp staff member, you’ll play a vital role in helping girls grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships in a supportive environment.

We are seeking a high-energy Hospitality Director who will provide direction, supervision, leadership, and support to all back-of-house operations  a core member of the camp leadership team, this individual will serve as the primary point-person for health-related needs of campers and will all ensure camp operations run smoothly from start to finish. The Ideal Candidate
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in teaching, guiding, and working with children.
  • Excited to be outdoors and work with youth.
  • Interested or experienced in camp and guiding youth in a variety of activities.
  • Prior experience with supervision of staff is a plus.
  • Energetic and has a desire to grow future girl leaders.
  • Visual/auditory ability to respond to environmental and other hazards.
  • Ability to respond calmly in a crisis situation.
  • Excellent customer service, including the ability to maintain a calm demeanor with adults in conflict.
  • Certified or able to become Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
  • Willing to stay in Dane, WI for the entire summer and live onsite with our campers.
  • Willingness to subscribe to the philosophy of the Girl Scout program and enroll as a Girl Scout member.
  • Available June 10th‑July 25th, 2026.
What You Will Do
  • Interpret, enforce, and teach state, American Camp Association, and Girl Scouts Safety Activity Checkpoints and standards.
  • Communicate with campers’ caregivers by posting photos and weather updates on Rallyhood.
  • Supervise, support, and advise campers, both day‑to‑day and in crisis management.
  • Provide administrative oversight and support to overall camp functions.
  • Assist in pre-camp operations and counselor training.
  • Oversee the Health Office, including inventory.
  • In the event of an illness or accident, administer first aid in accordance with health care standing orders.
  • Report serious illnesses and accidents to the appropriate parties as outlined by health procedures. Submit appropriate reports within the specified time.
  • Record all intake, medication delivery, and care for the patient in the Camp Doc electronic record system.
  • Monitor and evaluate camp procedures, facilities, and conditions. Suggest modifications to create healthier conditions, practices, and activities.
  • Implement and monitor that all health, safety, and program standards are being met.
  • Interpret the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and guide staff in putting it into practice.
  • Comprehend, monitor, and be willing to initiate crisis management plans, overall safety measures, and emergency procedures as necessary.
