Walbec Group is a construction materials and services provider in the Midwest.
Responsibilities- Produce, manage and communicate daily construction schedules under the direction of the Logistics Manager and Area Management team.
- Coordinate equipment, plants, and third‑party trucking to support project requirements.
- Generate daily schedules for crews in southern Wisconsin, including labor, materials and equipment as directed by superintendents.
- Work with Parisi transportation to schedule and ensure efficient transport of floating equipment, graders, loaders, rollers and other heavy equipment.
- Create and update a rolling two‑week schedule and post it electronically for daily access.
- Maintain the master schedule and long‑range schedule.
- Collect project data from local project management staff and superintendents to produce efficient and cost‑effective schedules.
- Schedule, monitor and track the Walbec floating equipment pool.
- Coordinate use and long‑range needs with Parisi superintendents.
- Maintain open communication with Parisi field/aggregate supervisors, technical services, area managers and project managers to ensure crew availability and scheduling efficiency.
- Participate in bi‑weekly scheduling meetings with superintendents and managers.
- Serve as a resource to project managers and superintendents to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Coordinate with scheduling managers from other Walbec business units for optimal use of crews and equipment.
- Coordinate traffic control needs, including equipment location, duration and pickup for efficient planning.
- Monitor crew personnel hours of service upon request by Area Management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft products.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills; professional under pressure; integrity.
- Preferred: road construction experience.
- Bachelor’s, associate’s, trade school, or equivalent technical training.
- Ability to troubleshoot, adapt, improve processes, and stay organized and detail‑focused.
- Experience scheduling or logistics in construction preferred.
