Role DescriptionThe Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Wisconsin, United States, responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from planning through final completion. Day‑to‑day tasks include coordinating project schedules, budgets, and resources; managing subcontractors and suppliers; and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope. The role involves regular site visits, leading progress meetings, resolving issues that arise during construction, and maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
The Project Manager will review plans and specifications, track project documentation, monitor quality standards, and support compliance with building codes and company policies. This position also includes preparing status reports, forecasting project needs, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating subcontractors and vendors.
- Strong skills in construction planning, reading blueprints and specifications, and overseeing site operations to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software, as well as basic office applications (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling software).
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, design professionals, and field teams.
- Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, including risk identification, issue resolution, and change management during the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices for commercial construction in the United States.
- Prior experience in commercial housing, retail, or restoration projects is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Ability to work on‑site in Wisconsin, United States, with reliable transportation to various project locations.
