Aggregate Summer 2027 Internship

Walbec is an industry leader in producing high-quality construction materials and delivering professional design, engineering, and construction services through its six companies:
Payne and Dolan, Northeast Asphalt, Zenith Tech, Parisi, Premier Concrete, and Construction Resources Management. Our vertically integrated operations include mining, crushing and washing aggregates, and producing concrete and hot-mix asphalt. Whether building roadways and bridges, stabilizing shorelines, rehabilitating structures, supplying essential construction materials, or providing site engineering and construction solutions for solar projects, Walbec is your bridge to expertise in construction and engineering.

• Participate in plant safety meetings and follow safety procedures while on job sites.
• Participate and assist in site safety audits.
• Support day-to-day operations at an aggregate crush/wash plant by assisting with production activities and material handling.
• Observe and assist with aggregate processes, including how materials are produced, stockpiled and loaded.
• Assist with tracking production information, materials, and inventory.
• Help collect material samples and observe quality control and plant performance.
• Support manufacturing related projects such as equipment tracking, site documentation and inventory organization.
• Shadow plant operators and foreman to gain hands on exposure to aggregate manufacturing operations.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Geology or Mining.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Locations vary based on internship. These positions are located in the following southeastern Wisconsin areas:
Waukesha, WI, Racine, WI, Franklin, WI, Madison, WI.
