Shower Door Estimator (Project Manager)
A rapidly growing residential glass and custom shower enclosure company is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Shower Door Estimator to join its expanding team. This role is instrumental in transforming incoming leads into successfully executed projects while delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities Generating Estimates- Review project blueprints, architectural drawings, and customer-provided measurements to prepare accurate, competitive, and timely estimates for frameless, semi-frameless, and framed shower enclosures.
- Communicate with homeowners, contractors, and designers via phone, email, and in-person consultations to discuss design options, hardware finishes, and glass selections.
- Convert approved estimates into detailed manufacturing specifications and ordering documents for suppliers and fabricators.
- Collaborate closely with field measurement technicians and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution from estimate through installation.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in construction estimating, glass and glazing, or the home improvement industry. Previous shower door estimating experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and field measurements.
- Experience using estimating software and related industry tools.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail to minimize measurement, pricing, and quoting errors.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
