Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Waukesha, WI. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for residential interior spaces, including space planning, developing construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). The role includes collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure design concepts meet project requirements while managing timelines and budgets.

The candidate will use design software and tools to create layouts, and provide creative solutions to meet client needs and enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design for residential projects
  • Proficiency in creating detailed Construction Drawings and collaborative work with Architecture professionals
  • Experience in selecting and specifying FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
  • Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar tools
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively collaborate with team members and clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus
