What the Job Looks LikeThis role has a full-time Monday through Friday schedule. As our Design Engineer, you become a key contributor in bringing engineered systems to life. You ll design and model mechanical assemblies and system layouts using CAD, applying engineering calculations to ensure each design performs as intended. You ll carefully select and integrate components—such as compressors, filters, dryers, regulators, valves, and sensors—to create reliable and efficient systems.
Your work includes preparing P&IDs, BOMs, drawings, and specifications that keep projects aligned and build-ready. You ll also collaborate with the engineering team to shape basic control logic and interface layouts, then move into hands-on involvement with prototype builds, functional testing, and system validation. Throughout each project, you ll support troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with ASME, CSA, and ISO standards.

Who Should Apply- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent field)
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience (internships, co-ops, or capstone projects acceptable)
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling and drafting (Fusion, Solid Works, or similar)
- Understanding of core engineering principles, including thermodynamics and fluid flow
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with system prototyping, field installations, or test procedures
- Knowledge of compressed air, gas systems, or fluid mechanics
- Exposure to PSA or membrane nitrogen generation technology
- Familiarity with Modbus communication, PLC programming, or HMI design
- Understanding of compliance standards such as CSA B51, NFPA 70/79, or UL/CE marking
