Your role and responsibilities:

  • Support sustainability initiatives in energy, waste, water, and carbon reduction.
  • Track and analyze sustainability metrics to drive measurable improvements and contribute to ESG reporting and corporate sustainability commitments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate sustainability and safety into new processes and projects.
  • Lead and improve safety programs aligned with OSHA and company standards and support ISO 14001 compliance and environmental management systems.
  • Identify and mitigate hazards through risk assessments, job safety analyses, and ergonomic evaluations; conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance at all levels.
  • Drive incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver engaging safety training for employees and contractors.
  • Manage safety documentation, KPIs, OSHA logs, and reporting.
What is required for this role:
  • Preferred: CHMM, LEED Green Associate, Lean/Six Sigma, or sustainability reporting experience.
  • Experience with Scope 2 & 3 emissions, CSRD, and CO₂ reduction projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, chemical, or industrial engineering (or related field).
  • Experience with Eco Vadis or similar ESG platform.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001 standards.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot trends and drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, shop-floor-first mindset.
