Test Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Waukesha, WI
. The ideal candidate possesses required hands‑on X‑Ray testing expertise while performing rigorous functional validation and documenting defects for engineering teams.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Execute detailed X‑Ray system test cases, verifying functionality, performance, and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform automated and manual testing using tools such as Test Complete to validate system behavior and detect defects.
• Document test results, identify failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Calibrate, configure, and operate X‑Ray equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing conditions.
• Maintain test environments, equipment logs, and testing artifacts to meet regulatory and quality‑assurance requirements.
• Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall testing efficiency and product reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of experience in testing, validating, or troubleshooting X‑Ray systems or similar imaging technologies.
• Strong client‑required hands‑on experience in X‑Ray testing, including executing test procedures and verifying system performance.
• Proven ability to work with automated QA tools (e.g., Test Complete) and document defects, results, and analysis with precision.

$37.00 to $41.00 per hour
