Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Waukesha, WI facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What You’ll DoThe Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects related to increasing and/or outsourcing capacity for the PDRD division. This would include the expansion of existing manufacturing footprints, the relocation of manufacturing operations, and the increase of capacity through the integration and development of joint venture operations across the globe. The Project Manager will also be responsible for leading supply‑chain related aspects of special initiatives, implementations, and process improvements as assigned within the PDRD organization.
EssentialFunctions
- Lead supply‑chain related aspects of projects involving the relocation of manufacturing operations, the expansion of manufacturing capacities, and the development of joint‑venture operations across the globe.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to establish thorough project plans and ensure that milestones are completed on schedule.
- Establish and implement supply‑chain strategies and processes required for capacity expasion projects. Strategies would involve:
- SIOP and Master scheduling
- Purchasing and sourcing
- Planning and production activity control
- Inventory and material flow
- Transportation and logistics
- Manage supply‑chain related aspects of SAP/MRP data migration as needed to support projects.
- Attend and lead process‑mapping workshops in support of projects.
- Lead supply‑chain related aspects of special initiatives, implementations, and process improvements as assigned within the PDRD organization.
- Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s vision, encourages continuous improvement while aligning with supply‑chain functional requirements (i.e., Materials Management Assessment).
- Utilizing Eaton Business System (EBS), recommend, develop, and manage plans to improve materials management, logistics and procurement processes as projects are executed.
- As needed for projects, develop training, standard work and work instructions for various supply‑chain roles, ensuring development of SAP expertise in new and existing SCM employees.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- A minimum of eight (5) years of work experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in Supply Chain role
- A minimum of three (3) years managing people or project team
- Relocation benefits are being offered for this position.
- Only candidates that currently reside or willing to relocate within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience with SAP
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- CPIM/ APICS Certification
- Continuous Improvement (CI) Certifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Process focused with continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, Project).
- Project management, including full comprehension of the Prolaunch Process.
- Demonstrated comprehension of the Eaton Business System (EBS).
