** The Position:
*** Assess, model, and analyze complex steel, concrete, and timber structures on heavy civil projects in all phases of access, demolition, and construction
* Design falsework and formwork to relevant codes and standards
* Engineer temporary and permanent earth retention systems
* Develop critical lift and jacking plans required for safe operations
* Prepare relevant, clear drawings for use by fabricators and field operations within fast-paced construction time frames
* In conjunction with Construction and Project Managers, solve engineering related project issues
* Review and update engineering standards for field operations and design
* Assist in responding to questions from contractors, public agencies and officials, or other stakeholders regarding policies, procedures, and practices
* Performs other related duties as required and assigned
** Requirements:
*** Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field emphasis in Structural Engineering is preferred
* 6 - 15 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
* PE license preferred
* Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
* Knowledge of heavy civil and/or construction engineering theories and principles
* Prior experience working with computers and related software applications for analysis and design
* Auto Cad knowledge is required, Civil 3D, Midas Civil, Risa 3D, Civiltech Shoring, and Civiltech All Pile are preferred
