** The Position:
** This role involves overseeing, directing and executing structural engineering designs and permitting efforts for a range of commercial and industrial sector projects.
* Foster a culture of excellence and innovation
* Managing and mentoring engineering team, providing guidance, support and fostering professional growth
* Driving technological advancements, staying up to date with industry trends
* Ensuring adherence to best practices, industry regulations and quality assurance processes
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
** Requirements:*
* * 8+ years of experience with structural concrete, steel and retaining structure rehabilitation design.
* Professional Engineering licensure.
* Proficiency in industry standard structural analysis and building code analysis.
* Deep understanding of building construction techniques and experience with structural framing systems.
* Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external partners, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Understanding of business objectives, financial management and market dynamics.
* Collaborative and supportive personal communication style.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience building and mentoring teams of high performing technical people.
* Ability to cultivate a culture of execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
