Senior Wire Harness EngineerWe are seeking a results-driven Senior Wire Harness Engineer with strong project management and manufacturing leadership experience to support advanced manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and industrialization of wire harness systems for production environments.
- Own end-to-end project execution across engineering and manufacturing phases.
- Provide direct supervision to harness technicians and lab/build personnel.
- Partner closely with production teams to optimize line layout, tooling, and build efficiency.
- Define harness architecture including connectors, terminals, routing, shielding, and protection systems; design necessary fixtures/tools for high volume production.
- Lead FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA), control plans, and validation activities.
- Use tools such as CATIA, NX, Creo, Capital, or Zuken E3, and PLM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
- 5 years related experience in engineering within a similar environment.
- Experience supporting production, NPI, and manufacturing ramp-ups.
- Experience leading technicians or shop-floor teams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated project management experience with cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, EV, industrial equipment, or high‑mix/low‑volume production.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management experience.
- Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
- Familiarity with automation, digital manufacturing tools, or Industry 4.0 practices.
- Experience with high‑voltage or complex electrical systems.
- Strong engineering‑to‑manufacturing integration mindset.
- Hands‑on leadership with shop‑floor presence.
- Execution focus with high accountability.
- Continuous improvement and Lean thinking.
- Ability to balance technical depth with operational speed.
- Strong communication across engineering and operations.
Predominantly on‑site in manufacturing and engineering environments. High interaction with production floor, labs, and cross‑functional teams. Occasional travel to suppliers, validation sites and production sites.
